I’m honestly so shocked at how much I fell in love with this Manga. I almost never find comics/mangas that intrigue me as much as this comic does. It has the perfect ratio of Character Development, Fitting Dialogue (Great Translation by the way), Romance, and Action. Love this manga and the translation is spot on!

I usually hate damsels in distress but man can I sympathize with Max. She’s not confident and she’s “weak” because she was abused (physically, emotionally and mentally) growing up. She’s not stupid either, just uneducated. My heart always stings whenever she pull her self down or when people judge her and treat her with disdain. I wanna protect her from all harm. She kinda reminds me of Feyre from the new adult novel A Court of Thorns and Roses. I wish we get to see her be strong and confident soon.

Seriously, Riftan on the novel is tenfold more charismatic and insatiable for Maxi? but i also enjoy reading the manhwa because the graphic is outstanding beautiful?? aside from their *chefkiss* night rendezvous, I enjoy Maxi’s character development. First bunch of chapters she has gravely ill self esteem, i found it pitiful yet annoying sometimes. Luckily all the people in Anatol quite love her and can appreciate her (plus Riftan is so over protective towards her like mother goose) so she can find herself more.
I look forward for Princess Agnes. In the novel, Agnes seems to be a perfect person to push her to be more open and stands firm for what she wants eventhough sometimes it’s against Riftan. I think she is influenced greatly too after her encounter with Agnes. What am I saying I am doting for Maxi ? i want her to be a greater woman in par with her beloved husband. Go Maxi!

I like the novel more than the manga tbh but I still loved the images. Riftan and Maxi are adorable. I know lots of ppl have a problem with Maxi because she’s so proud and “weak” but before Riftan took her away, she was abused and unloved her whole life. Also sheltered, because other than her father’s cruelty, she was never around war or violence of any kind. I’m sure she didn’t even have any friends. I sympathize with her and actually love the progress she has made, she’s more affectionate towards her husband and her stutter isn’t as bad anymore. She’s my favorite FL so far!
Too bad it doesn’t look like there will be a season 3 any time soon. oh well. At least there’s the novel.

To truly know she can talk to him and that no matter what he will love her anyway. He can help her see that nothing was ever wrong with her but it was her father’s need to hurt someone. For her to realize she was not defective; her father was. Once she gets past that with Riiftan by her side, and she by his they will have a marriage so strong she will never ever let anyone disrespect her again. They will also have a marriage like most don’t experience, two people United by God and woven together until the end of their lives. Even with all the ups and downs of life. I hope that is the direction the story will go.
