Huh it looks like possession of some sorts, whenever anastacius’ eyes turn red or have red pupils he acts different, and when he found jenette he had red pupils and sighed/thought “troublesome, you deal with it” it was like, aeternitas was speaking referring to anastacius, could it be that anastacius is “possessed” or something like that, aethernitas obviously cannot live that long so maybe anastacius is like a vessel and in return aethernitas is letting him use his magic?

Basically what happened is that the old emperor found out somehow that lucas was asleep for 100+ years and came and stole his magic, which is why the old emperor has magic now although Lucas said he didn’t have any when he was younger. Then the old emperor possessed Athy’s uncle, who was dying at the time. Now they both share a body and can mix their magic together. Since the original emperor stold lucas’s magic Lucas felt some of his own magic in the cursed bow. Which is also why lucas can’t fully breal the curse because his magic was stronger then, than it is now.
