It’s pretty anti-climactic that this whole thing was resolved without the intervention of any of the main characters. We only get this last minute info-dump despite nothing about it having been introduced before. The bad guys lost because off-screen they ended up killing each other, so neither Delua’s nor Vernie’s plans could come to fruition. Rue stabbed him, but he already had one foot in the grave.
I guess the one thing Rue achieved was not feeding Karloi the poison, which prevented the rebellion from spreading since Karloi remained composed in public.
wow finallyyy, atp i really dislike karloi, even if she wasnt rue no women shud be treated like that! poor rue heart ache after heartache, she shud just be with ashel cuz he honelsty seems like the most geuine man throughout the series
