guys i get why you hate him but you have to think what he’s going through he’s he thinks the girl who saved him is dead and the queen is under a spell so she can’t even tell him so that doesn’t help him with the suspicions he has on her and her trash of a father but in now way am i defending the way he has treated her in the beginning and right now cause he also shouldn’t be doing all that to her but y’all gotta think it through another prospective
I get he is suffering too, but his grudge against her father doesn’t give him the right to treat the FL the way he did. He always lashed out at her. So, in a way, he became the man he hated. Just like her father used his power to mistreat the ML, so did the ML turned around and did the same to the FL. So his suffering right now, he only has himself to blame. The only true victim here is the FL.
I understand he is suffering too. I get it but you see. For someone who is an emperor, he sure is an incompetent one. He has a whole bunch of aides, yet he’s constantly getting one-upped by the duke. There’s a lot he can do to unfold the actual truth. But he chose to believe only one side of the story. And yes, as mentioned above as well, this doesnt disregard that he actually did mistreated his own empress, bringing in other Queen, and eventually imprisoning her without double checking any facts. What the FL needs right now is her own freedom and escape the clutches from 2 toxic men in her life.
