Honestly she’s sometimes smart but also quite stupid. The first thought if someone is acting differently after going back in time is that they’re possibly the same as you.
But she never made such conclusions to this chapter ? the duke may be an asshole but he is a smart asshole he was able to figure it out immediately while she’s still cluelessly walking on eggshells.
