dude has a point. she seems to be vying for a position but has zero clue why she wants it or what to do after attaining it. its cool that although she’s a regressor she’s still childish in a way thats fitting of her physical age, but she’s not particularly likeable just yet. shes a bit too reckless and immature rn but thats a fantastic flaw to grow from. well we’ll see what happens
I think she is immature and childish because Sotroni basically groomed her into being the puppet successor- keeping her docile but completely loyal to him by appeasing her, praising her, and keeping her guard down so that he could do what he wanted. Originally, I don’t think she wanted to be a successor, that only came after Eulla’s death accompanied by the childish deserve to prove to everyone that she could be a good successor. Honestly, it’s tragic. I really hate her character but I hope this is a wake up call that opens her eyes and she becomes a strong, cunning FL.
I wonder if the ML also regressed and figured out that Storoni basically groomed her as a puppet successor, which is why he’s so guarded and spiteful of Storoni. He might be thinking that so long as he keeps Storoni and Kalmia apart, then history won’t repeat.
You know what, I was going to drop this because I thought it wasn’t going to be addressed, but I’m so glad this he pointed all that out to her. This girl was really annoying me because the only thing she seems to care about is the position of being the successor, and nothing more. She has no other thoughts of how to get there, except killing her brother, she has no goals she wants to reach once she has it, she has no plan. Nothing. She was getting so one dimensional but hopefully she grows up and immature, and stop thinking that Ellua has to die just so she can get the position. Idk if it’s the translations but when she brought up Ellua having to die in this chapter I wanted to scream. Why don’t you put in effort and prove yourself. You’re mad at the father but have you even shown interest in the position to him or asked? How would he know otherwise
