honestly for me the fl is way too dumb and dense….she’s thinking she’s safe with her family then why the hell she left them in the first place?? if she believed duke was behind trying to kill her she should have returned and talked with her brother in trying to keep her safe or better yet hidden I’m sure he would have agreed and even kept her hidden more better and helped in kepping Patrick more safe and healthy…….but now she thinks yeah it’s better to stay with family??!!! smh she isn’t even trying to tell her brother!! Like why won’t she? Doesn’t she consider her brother a family or someone she could rely on? Or she thinks they might be her could be killer then why stay with them? or doesn’t she wanna bother them with this?? Well i think her brother is a marquis he is quiet capable of keeping himself safe with all the training he might have received as the heir…..infact if she tells her brother or told him and asked him to keep it a secret and help her try to find the reason or if it even was duke who tried to kill her? Her brother would have been able to find some clues at least. If she claims to love the duke in the past why wouldn’t she wanted to know why he tried to kill her? As person if your loved one tried it you would go hell and back to find the reason behind it even if it was something as petty as they didn’t liked you. And if she said she couldn’t do all this because of her child’s safety then she’s simply using him as a barrier to shrug it off all….cuz if she was a real strong woman she would wanna know the whole truth and would want to tell her son that his father was not a very good man and she didn’t even had to be in trouble nor patrick’s safety would be in jeopardy since it would be her brother’s goons or subordianted finding out the truth and if they r caught they could simply said marquis wanted to know the truth behind her death!!!!
