as revolting as this story is, it’s extremely fascinating to see the cracks in Kairos’ facade. for all the time he kept putting up certain walls and distances with Chloe to preserve his goal, its interesting to see the way it shattered when he came to the realization (at a very heavy price(. fantastic story telling and character building – and even more vengeful that Chloe will never know the depth of Kairos’ feelings/obsessions, which is a form of revenge in and of itself: he will never be taken seriously by her
