holy… first of all, uncle is a fucking bitch. i want him to suffer. second of all, emperor seems nice but he’s a cheater. i admit that he’s just in a political marriage with the empress, and they have no feelings for each other but still. consider her feelings. you’re the goddamn emperor. lastly, female lead. i really feel bad for her. she got groomed and manipulated at such a young age. i agree that she is weak, but you can’t expect her not to. she was manipulated by her dumbass uncle. i want to see her growth as a person and get out of this shitty place.

This story plainly said: kid sent to battle at 14, kid ordered to marry some girl he had nothing to do with by father, now-young-man presented with MC GROOMED for him who fakes her best to love him… So, he divorces said girl he had nothing to do with for a ridiculously large settlement and…. CHEATER!! WTF? lol… So, by this logic he was supposed to stay with the girl he was ordered to marry because reasons… whatever. This girl may have taken the money and run for the hills for all this story has said about her.
The emperor doesn’t deserve to be emperor simply because he follows orders instead of giving them and because he can’t tell when he’s being manipulated. He sounds pretty stupid. Beyond that there’s no reason to fault him for honestly loving a girl who is deceiving him like a champ. This is her fault and not his.
It’s obvious the emperor’s part is going to be retold in a better light later because, so far, it’s only been told from the MC’s messed up point of view. If you’re going to bash the emperor then don’t yell CHEATER. Yell DIP$**T because he has to be dumber than a rock to make all this overwrought drama even remotely possible.
I’m looking really forward to future development, I think it’s important to get context before the re-incarnation happens. I like how they showed how dependant and hopeless the fl is, I hope she grows away from her uncle and realises how to live a life where she isn’t groomed and happy.
