So i am the oy one who actually don’t hate him soo much… I don’t like him but I don’t hate him either…when i read the comments i feel like literally no one is thinking about his side…yea he is kinda shit but the man was treated like shit when he was young and it’s not necessary to love someone back just because they love you…he fell in love with someone else tho she’s a bitch (ig) and was heartbroken because they couldn’t get together…then his mother was beheaded for whatever the silly reason was..the man just lost his mind and emotions….and the wedding day thing about love…he didn’t give any false hope nor did he bring any women to the palace but i hate the fact that he was ignoring her not considering her feelings at all ..and now he doesn’t love that bitch it’s good…tho it’s late..a little too late he realised his care for fl i hope he treats her better other than thinking that he loves her…up untill now I don’t hate him but i don’t like him that much either… I’m pretty sure there’s going to be soooo much misunderstandings and all…I just couldn’t accept that literally no one thinks from his side..just the fl’s…AND YOU BASTARD TREATY GIRL BETTER FROM NOW ON….i kind of understand you BUT that doesn’t justify you actions dude….
Hmm, I don’t really know what’s happening, I do think that everyone here is exaggerating the Emperors actions, He has said from the beginning that the fl shouldn’t expect his love. I do think he should have treated her with respect that is definite, but the dude has been traumatized and lost basically everyone close to him, although he sucks ass at showing his care for the fl, are we going to ignore the fact he didn’t want to lose anyone else when talking to the fl?

She is suffering right now because of her love for him but I just can’t blame the ml here he didn’t really promise her anything about love except that he won’t bring any other women and he didn’t. She’s being selfish for not telling him that she’s pregnant I know she has her reasons but come on both can keep the secret bout the pregnancy.
And she didn’t really confess to him or told him that she fell for him, the only affection she showed him is that she’ll be by he’s side.
Anyway I don’t like both fl and ml because the art kinda odd.
I dont think the ml deserves the hate. Im not going to spend so much time to explain why I thinj so, since there are already plenty of people who says their thoughts well enough.
But I’m going to make it easier for those who hate him to understand. What happens if the story is written from his prespective from the beginning? Can u guys still hate him as much as you do? Writing is always about manipulating audience’s thoughts. U can literally read a novel that comes from an evil villain’s prespective, and u can say they had done nothing wrong. Or at least if u still hate them for being evil, u wont hate them that much.
My advice for u readers is to always think outside of the box and stop thinking with your feelings and not just from the main lead’s prespective. Always think of this as of this is from a third person POV. Everything will be much clearer like that
Wow, that is still too long. But imma stop reading this. I dont like love triangle, and I was just here cuz I was curious. Cuz letz be honest here, it’s almost the 10th chapter and I still think we are on act 1. I think this is a bad idea for novels or stories, because this will make some readers lost interest. Though the act 1 is well written it’s still too long bruh
full agree with the ones saying the ML is getting stupid hate. like yeah he’s pretty indifferent and bad at communication, but when you’ve been abused all your life because of your bloodline, had your first leave get shipped off and knowing you can’t do jackshit, then having your mother beheaded for being a commoner – well, you lose a lot, especially the ability to sympathize outwardly. Sure he can’t communicate – neither can she. And although in a perfect world they SHOULD, its not a perfect world and we’re all guilty for this.
Plus yes, just because she loves him, doesn’t mean he needs to love her back. He respects her by not bringing in other women, affirming his original promise even after the news of blonde’s return, and even admitting to himself that he needs to take responsibility for the kid but cannot make room for blondie. He even just said he felt nothing for blonde, but cares for his wife and is now at a crosswords between politics (the kid) and his life (ellie). He’s not a bad guy and idk why everyone hates him so much
