Honestly I find her act of indifference and slight hostility towards him unfounded.
She’s holding him accountable for his past lack of affection and attention to her when he made it clear that her love will not be reciprocated. And she accepted it and married him nonetheless.
In the past she selfishly and one-sidedly believed that if she showers him with her love he will surely return it. And now it seems she even believes he is obligated to have returned her feelings.
It’s selfish and egoistical of her to be angry and hold grudges when she knew exactly what she was getting into and willingly signed up for it without hesitation.
So why is she holding him accountable for her self inflicted pain.
I get the possibility of a dispute over the crown but let’s not forget that she is depriving him of his paternal rights. That’s just messed up.
Also, why is his late realization of his feelings such a bad thing? Isn’t it something to be happy about?
Not everyone is woke to their own feelings. Especially with all that he had to go through since childhood. That can really mess a person up.

Okay, I feel like we need to stop the hate comments towards our fl. From what I see, yes she wanted love but she accepted that he might never love her, as long as he treats her like he used to, a bestie. Instead, she got put through years of indifference and neglect. She signed herself up for the role of an empress, so yes, some of it can be blamed on her, but after how he treated her, she deserves a way out and the right to move on. He has issues, we get it. He wanted to protect her, but his version of protection was to never pay no mind and do the bare minimum of a husband. Ffs, he barely even ate any meals with her and those dinners were awkward at best. Now he’s an obsessive creep who won’t fuck off. She’s paid her time, let her go. If I was in her shoes, I’d feel uncomfortable and angry too. She’s always been on the giving end and he’s always been on the receiving end (at least in this relationship).
