FL also shown morning sickness in that party make the emperor suspect that her pregnant but FL strongly denied.. ML jelous when FL dance with other man.. FL went to another country and dont want to comeback.. ML cant denied his love for FL then run to FL house to search for her but her father told him dont search her again .. 7 years later in another country she lives happily with her son
Well from the story i think that the emperor Don’t know how feelings work so he isn’t bas or a bastard he just doesen’t know how to expresse love and for that bitch he was just confused with her angelic face or even he may that he will never fall In love again so he declined bis feelings for thé FL

Honestly I hate this ML so much, like specifically this kind. I don’t know about you all but I can’t view him in a different perspective that would deem him good. I don’t care that he can’t “expressed his love” therefore I can’t feel for his regret because he made her sad, miserable, anxious, insecure (and other namely sins in the book) ALOT. And that my friend is SUPER bad. Like I understand if someone feel like that, I know people like that exists. BUT if a person can’t expressed their love, that still means that ON THE INSIDE the person loves him/her and if you love someone, your action will show that. YOU will make them happy and NOT sad. You would’ve still go out of your way to move mountains, cross the nile river, defeat alligators and stuff for them and their happiness, be it behind their back or not. But for this guy? NAH he didn’t do any of that. YES maybe there’s some happy moments the ML and FL shared but come on, you can clearly see she was suffering inside the castle with him. Plus look at her after the divorce, she’s SO MUCH HAPPIER AND HEALTHIER and that is saying something. So no, I really can’t side with the ML in this one.
