I love this particular style of chibis. I’ve seen some webtoons/manga/manwha with chibis used that are exaggerated, silly, or out of place. But I think this series does it well. I understand it might be a bit too slow of development but at least it’s enjoyable seeing his clear feelings for her.

There are obvious reasons why their relationship progress slowly, but to say they’re not having development? Nah.
Kael is being more assertive, and trying to show Hestia he cares about her, and that he doesnt care about Diana anymore. While yes, Hestia is being dense, she has not considered living in the novel forever. She thinks/hopes she’ll go back to her own world, but now she’s opening her eyes a little, after Kael’s question of what are her plans for after she “loses her powers”.
You’re free to dislike the story, its your taste, but a slowburn is a slowburn 🤷♀️
