This is only the first chapter, so I really don’t want to be too judgy. But the weight loss concept is just for no reason. She was originally fat, and she lost it all in one chapter? Okay maybe it was actually a whole year’s worth of dieting and exercising, can’t they at least extend it to a couple of chapters? What was the original point of doing this? I would’ve liked to read a manhwa where they try and get healthy realistically, but no they’re gonna go ahead and make her turn from fat to so fucking skinny in like a 2 minutes read. There probably is a reason for even adding the whole thing (weight+weight loss, since you normally wouldn’t see them, and fl will just naturally be slender) but it better be a good one. And not just some stupid reason. And the way they talk so bad about being fat saying as if it makes someone ugly. (They didn’t directly said it, merely implied) God, weight loss Manhwas are very rarely done right :/
I also don’t like the whole weight lose concept. she was pretty when she was fat too and if her weight was so important in the original they could have shown how people treat her differently as she changes. And she suddenly loses weight and her family gives her more responsibilities, she couldn’t do them when she was fat or what? And this is just a personal preference, but considering how it was said that she is both tall and large I would have liked if she would have become more toned and visibly strong because of her training and dieting. It would have put a nice twist on things and make her more visually distinct, considering that most fl that can fight and are described as athletic are still really skinny. Idk what to say about this one, I’ll read some more and see
Fat-shaming mc? wow. Honestly, I hate manhwas like this because the mc magically becomes skinny and “beautiful”. I remember reading a manhwa with a redhead reincarnated mc who gained recognition while being fat and only lost weight because she was fat to the point of being unhealthy. This is just bs.
