I’m not sure I want to keep reading this. I used to write as well in high school and would pass it around my class. I got into an argument cause a classmate insisted that I should end it more clearly so they won’t be disappointed cause they felt it was lacking when I had my own reasons to end it the way I did.
I’am not a professional but I disliked it when someone went and created a more “appropriate” ending to my stories.
An author have their reasons for ending their stories the way they do. We should not meddle with it just cause as a reader we are curious and want to have a romantic and happy ending.
I give the 2nd chapter a chance and go from there.
