see i totally get the count’s idea: gain the strength to give power to and protect the weak. but the problem with a totalitarian system is that the sacrifices and the means often do not justify the end. similar to madara or thanos, both of whom cared more about some semblance of peace. but madara was willing to enslave the minds of millions to create a singular world and thanos was willing to wipe entire fractions of populations to solve resource depletion. good intentions, poor ethics. fascinating villain
