Kahil is a child compared to her, both in body and personality. If she were to see him any other way than as a child she’s helped, like she sees the Arcus mages, it would feel kinda weird and forced.
On the other hand, Avaritia has that weird obsession with her on top of being uh well a literal demon who wrecks havoc among humans… it would also be weird if she were to eventually reciprocate his feelings.
Honestly, I wish there wasn’t all this drama around Kahil being in love with her because it should end in rejection from her ; but it’s possible that they’re gonna make her fall for him even though I don’t see how that would make sense given her background…
