Their romatic relationship was smooth like apart of Lucas saying some romatic things here and there they become a couple with out confessing opendly their feelings (They were like “actions shown how much i love you better than words”) that’s why she reject Ezekiel, Lucas from another dimention and the knight from the crossover story.
This is just a speculation but what if he rejects him he doesn’t understand and in his fit of rage her dream actually takes place I mean look at the timing of her thinking about it
