Leniency is alright but if you’ve actually raised children, pure leniency is not going to work cuz what you’ll get are children who will trow tantrum left and right for not getting their way. And the fl is honestly just overly, purely and idealistically lenient. There isn’t even any sort of discipline anymore.

It’s that sort of manhwa where the kids are supposed to be portrayed as pure hearted, innocent, cute etc. No matter what, most fl who reincarnate as a mum will be so overly lenient, but the kids will never be spoiled or act out because they’re usually treated badly in the past. The lack of discipline towards the kids from the fl in almost every manhwa with this plot line, is super unrealistic but that’s what makes it funny lol. Like you said, a “light hearted story” that happens to be in the fantasy genre will definitely be illogical in some way, especially when it comes to character personalities and the plot line .

Sounds more like overthinking too me. I’m pretty sure he’s at least better at swordsmanship then average kids at the same age as him.
