I’m actually really glad that she’s leaving. I know it’s not going to stick but Winter needed this to understand that 3 terrible years can’t be erased by, what, a few months? And even that ended up cracking and burning.
I know that Winter has his reasons and his own trauma driving his choices but she really was living in hell. One that he helped to create, even accidentally.
This is why Communication is important guys. I’m tbh not on anyone’s side. Both of them were in their own hell, with their own traumas Doesn’t matter if one’s ‘trauma’ was worse than the other. If only he had tried to conversate once.
My heart broke for winter, such an unfortunate events for a couple who had the literal set of “POLAR OPPOSITE” individual, i mean in everything, background, childhood, mindset, goals, perception, etc. But did had a genuine feelings for each other, my feelings weighs heavier for winter, since i had experience a childhood trauma that give me a different perception of what is good nor bad in REAL WORLD, which usually people often take me as a rude or bad person since i am a practical person who don’t really BELIEVE IN SOCIAL IDEALS, & my childhood trauma in the hands of my toxic father is WAY FAR FROM WHAT THE ML had undergo, they both have a painful experience that molds them into their present mindset, the difference is just for the FL this was all new for her & was all fresh & was just recent events, she was the typical angel princess that promotes LOVE, RESPECT, UNDERSTAND & MARTYR DOME mindset as a royalty for the society, that see goodness in everything, so this WRENCHING SHITS she had experience in the hands of JEALOUS & SELFISH LOWER NOBLES where like a HELL & new evilness she had seen ever since she was born.
While on the other hand, the ML had a heavy baring past that molds him into becoming a cold hard person he is now, i don’t even need to state all his shits he had experience, he was raised to have a mindset of being compensated of affection as long as he works hard & appease people w/money & luxury, since as a child he never had those & people around him, wishes for luxury, he craved for love so HE WORKS his butt of to appease the princess that was married off to him, he is aware that he is rude, brute, etc. & his only strong point for him is witt in finances, talent in making his self wealthy, & he thought that he can atleast make the PRINCESS(A ROYALTY) happy & satisfied by his talent alone, there are so much deep emotion that winter had, u just need to widen ur point of view of people’s experiences & mindsets.
People hated him since the plot or story started in the wife’s pov & her current experiences & how she was tainted a pure maiden by the evilness of the blooming household, she isn’t strong wielded person so a small gaslight manipulation talk, she then get meek & silence her self, & would not stand for her self, & will choose to kept the peace & understanding
