I can understand where Ricaydo is coming from.
The Knights were severely taken advantage of and used without regard to their lives by Maxi’s father.
Throughout the kingdom Maxi is thought to be the precious daughter of that Duke who always had frail health.
No one outside of Cryoso castle knows of the treatment Maxi has received her entire life.
They hate the Duke and some in turn extend that hatred to the wretched Duke’s daughter.
They will come around, and come to hate the Duke even more over the massive mistreatment of Maxi.
@ConjunxEndura I agree! It will be nice to have us audience see her hard work paying off in the future for them to like her, not forced to just because she is the wife of Riftan but she actually put in the effort so they can trust her and have a bond
@FortuneKookie Yes it’s sad that they extended their hate to someone innocent. I keep hearing this is a novel. Do you know where I can read it? Now that I have a visual of the setting and characters, I want to continue to read the story 🙂
i don’t really like how the knights aren’t really giving her a chance to do things. yeah i guess it’s good that they’re not all head over heels for her immediately but it’s been a while… she has proven herself enough already. i guess the knights were kind of willing in the end, but it was only bc Ruth was there. If he wasn’t, it would’ve been a whole different thing. anyways, ricaydo is so ugh… glad riftan was there although he deserved to get his ass beat
