Don’t get me wrong I do love the story and I think they could have a really great relationship. But right now it’s very quickly in the path for extreme toxicity and negativity.
If Maxi does not get help for her mental issues then she will never be the good wife she wants to and tries so hard to be.
She’s got some demons to deal with and they seem insurmountable right now. I know this isn’t that kind of story and I greatly look forward to the day she is able to stand firmly on her feet with confidence in who she is and her value to those who treasure her. I think that will definitely be a sight to see.
I can understand the depths of her self loathing. Her depression runs deep. She can’t understand that she is precious to Riftan at this time.
No one has ever said that they need her or even that they love her.
She has craved affection her whole life having never received any and now that someone who thinks of her very life as worth more than anything in the world has come she can’t recognize it.
Though my own depression doesn’t run as deep as hers. I know self loathing. Sometimes you need another to tell you that just you being alive is something they love. I can’t wait for Maxi to know this. She is very precious. And many care for her greatly know. Riftqn being at the top of this list.
