I don’t think theon is a bad guy but I believe he will fall for her in this timeline and I don’t like it. The circumstances in the first timeline were shit and I don’t think Theon had any real sway in the situation and dorothea was also just plain evil. At the same time, this time, just like the other one, she is just a child, her circumstances are the same. The only difference is that now she is more pitiful where before she was determined and stubborn. And NOW he falls in love with her? He needed to see her cry at the slightest sign of affection from someone other than ray and her getting publicly humiliated to realise that she was human too? fuck that
This is truly sad. I almost cried while reading it. I wish she would find someone to fall in love with that wouldn’t be Theon. It would be much healthier for her to be away from all of this.
I don’t want him to fall in love with her. He’s chosen his love who he was willing to kill himself for. He can’t abandon her now. I hope she can let him go
Spoilers but theon isn’t in love with his other childhood friend. He never was. Theon committed suicide in the past because powers of darkness need light powers to balance it out or it causes him pain and suffering. When she killed her brother, he had no way of managing it. Childhood friend went looking for the stone of light to help him, and she was killed and with that he lost hope to live because he had no way of managing his powers. When Theon originally married her he thought she was very beautiful and capable and that they could be happy together. It all only went downhill when she started killing people who genuinely had no bad intentions toward her like the childhood friend and her brother.

Theon isn’t necessarily a bad person but it just isn’t fit for theon to be ml. One of the aim it seems for fls character is to live as someone that isn’t a tyrant and the reason she became a tyrant in the first place is chasing for love, whether it was her fathers or theon. I don’t know if i can explain very well but Theon doesn’t seem like a good ml just becaus eof the history between the 2, not to mention the ending that seems to be the fittest for fl is for her to cut her love for theon smoothly, because romantic love can be changed, there is a better piece for her. Hopefully understand why her father treats her like that, and maybe hopefully create a relationship or for her to have something near a parental figure in her life since she was pretty much forced to be an adult as a child, without any parents
I really wish SOMEONE tells the brother WHY she is resentful and can’t do things. I understand why he is naive, because he is so sheltered and no one ever tells him anything, but I really, really want him to be a better support for his sister, and he won’t be able to do that until he understands the difference in how they are being treated
