Poor Dorothy. Obv she’s not perfect but she’s absolutely right. No one expected her to beat them. Even Ray took it for granted that he would beat her unless he purposefully lost. He felt he didn’t need to focus on the fight in order to still win so he was free to worry about hurting her. He never saw or respected her as a swordswoman.
