Um…….I was thinking that he is sensitive to smell too right………and he can smell blood…….why hasn’t he said anything about the fl’s period or has she not have them yet……..I might come of as someone weird but I really am trying to think hard
Perhaps it still smells similarly enough, but Ceres doesn’t mind because compared to the literal rivers of blood on the battlefield, like 20-40 milligrams of blood over the course of several days each month isn’t enough to bother him.
^^ I’ve always thought about that too when it comes to periods like with vampire manwhas and animes. Like they never show if they can smell their periods and stuff??
biology lesson! period blood smells markedly different from other blood because of the environment it comes from. vaginal flora is diverse and extremely rich in order to maintain a certain level of cleanliness and pH (thus, it’s a self regulating biome, and this is why you shouldn’t be try to wash inside with soap or anything scented and crazy). menstrual blood mixes with this flora and will usually smell a bit different – typically much muskier than regular coppery-smelling blood from any where else.
