One thing I enjoy about this comic that is different from a lot of “reborn to change the events of the past” comics, is that there’s a genuine feeling of threat from the other characters. The FL isn’t overpowered due to her intelligence and future-knowledge, because the people around her are intelligent, too, and come up with new plans when she thwarts the original ones. A different kind of comic might show the Tia’s servants as being worried about the Emperor’s “offer”, while Tia is flashing a dashing smile because she knows exactly how to thwart his plan. In this comic, everyone is worried about what could happen because of this offer, and Tia sees a way out but doesn’t feel guaranteed of winning. I enjoy that tension!
It’s the little thing that really makes this story amazing. The fact Tia has to take a second to collect herself before walking past her mother, the way the others are automatically protecting her. Also, do they even know the specifics of what Mom did to Tia? If they don’t and just read the situation and Tia and then decided to protect like that, it just makes the story that much better! I’m loving this!
