She keeps going on and on about taking things from lysia as if the girl has sole proprietary rights to anything. It’s not as if lysia has any say about the grand dukes feelings nor does being a saintess.
All the self-blaming, self-loathing and self proclamation as a villainess is getting old and tiring at this point.
All that “self-__” makes me think she’s actually also quite self-absorbed as if everything revolves around her.

I hate how she’d go don’t ask questions and just do as I say and then when repercussions of it comes, like cedric falling for her BEFORE even developing any feelings whatsoever towards lysia, and then she goes it’s all my fault.
Her contradicting personality of confident but a self-deprecating villain complex (not that the term actually exists just yeah can’t find the psychological term for a person who always blames themselves aside from THE “self-blame”)
It’s honestly getting annoying, these time travelers changing things but goes”I stole what was theirs” but in this case cedric was never even lysia’s in the past timeline cuz the girl was dead.
HOW AND WHO IS TO SAY CEDRIC WAS HERS. And the title saint was for those who CAN bring forth change that lysia WAS NEVER ABLE TO DO even until death and so saintess title REVOKED.
I mean the guilt of making the person, who now serves you wholeheartedly, suffer in their past life is kinda big. I’ve never lived her life, so I can’t really judge-
imo it’s okay that she believes that she’s stolen everything from lysia even if I don’t agree with it. From her pov, she knows lysia is a good person, and she still broke her engagement to cedric to marry her to lawrance after knowing her brother is awful. and then aided in her murder and still lysia forgave her – that’s a lot to feel guilty for – in terms of the cedric thing, after knowing both of them, it wouldn’t be hard to believe that they love each other but know their duty so she truly believes that’s what happened – that lysia married lawrance because of the prophecy and cedric was so heart broken that he didn’t get married again even if a political alliance for resources would have been super useful.
as for feeling that she should have predicted the emotional changes, I don’t think so, she was what? in her late teens, early twenties in her first life? and she’s been emotionally and physically abused by the people she was meant to rely on and who she was supposed to receive love from – her mom and her brother
so she believes she doesn’t deserve love on top of knowing the crimes she’s committed – she can’t even accept herself, so in her pov, why would anyone else
cedric is also a very righteous person so to acknowledge that he would love her even after knowing that she can be ruthless would mean she would have to admit to herself that she can forgive herself, which she isn’t ready to accept – but there has been development! we see that she’s been re-thinking her options (that scene where cedric tells her that keeping her principals is important for example) to consider mercy, and she’s trying to redeem herself.
this is also one of the few transmigration/time travel stories I enjoy bc her decisions make sense, she isn’t denying her portion of the blame from the crimes of her past life, and her growth feels realistic (she’s learning to be more merciful, and it’s slow and painful but that’s what makes it enjoyable)
