It’s not normalize but it’s not something new for us. For the new generation, this thing might be a problem but for the older generation, it’s simply normal. It just because the difference between generation that it became something like a ‘culture shock’

Nine years isn’t much though… Where I live, it’s actually quite normal. Anything in between 5 and 12 years is totally the norm.

I think 18 – 30 is fine my sister is 25 and she’s dating a 35 year old military man who’s very mature and well suited for her.
Lets also not forget the social norms of historical setting I wouldn’t find it strange if hes was 35 or even 40 and she 18-20 honestly.
