Perhaps in the original novel, Ariel really didn’t kill the silver hair girl. Maybe it was khan’s doing. Maybe Khan tried to make Ariel to join them but she refused. To avoid their secret movements from leaking, they staged something to frame and kill Ariel
I agree. I feel like the old Ariel really like perfumes too, so she couldnt have killed the silver haired. I just think that the duke and old Ariel didn’t have that level of trust and understanding. Poor old Ariel ??
