He is being surprisingly rude, considering the situation. Not that he didn’t deserve it, but calling any member of the royal family “dim-witted” to their face would be lese-majesté, depending on the laws. They’re also surprisingly confident of receiving the king’s backing, even though so far the king seemed to support the crown prince. Wouldn’t the saintess just convince the king if she spoke to him, because of how the world bends to her?
@Kian thats only if the Royals hold absolute power, which they don’t most likely because of nobles or foreign powers watching them and keeping them in check. if they randomly execute on Lèse-majesté that can be used as a solid foot hold for enemies
