I understand everyone is frustrated cause I am to. But… put yourself in her shoes, what if you were in a world where you know it’s ending, you know the guy you like is destined to be with someone else. You wouldn’t dare to take the risk, cause you don’t want your heart to get broken, you don’t want to get hurt. It is scary to even just think about it.
Honestly, very honestly, I understand where she’s coming from. The things that she knew were supposed to happen, happened and that is why she thinks that when he meets Beatrice (?), he will fall in love with her. I fully understand that logic, HOWEVER, what is frustrating as a viewer is the fact that she does not trust him or his feelings. FL doesn’t trust that the duke will continue living her in the face of what is now her rival. And THAT is absolutely what I find the most frustrating. The FL is belittling the feelings of this man, who had NO intention of EVER falling in love (as we can see here from his backstory) and yet, not only did he accept his feelings but he’s also being honest about them!
