I find it really puzzling how no one questioned why they were tasked with killing the demon king without any confirmed reports that he actually did anything bad like starting a war or killing innocents. Do they hold something against them or are they just incapable of critical thinking? Why would u do something like that willingly with no accurate reason to it?
And if u want a ‘normal life’ u really could have gotten it in a more comfortable way like u literally hold more power that the emperor now, threaten him a bit get some money and leave to another country and gotten comfortable life there with the money and u won’t have to deal with the consequences of what u had done.
Also my theory is that the imperials wanted something in the demon king’s land so they had to dispose of him first to get it.
But didnt the demon king kinda thanked her for killing him? So isnt it a win-win situation at this point? There’s a lot of things that are still unclear. I thought luke might be a bad person but i dont think the first prince is any better.. then there’s also the scene where she’s surprised she saw her dead brother in the other girl’s brother. i cant quite grasp the flow of the story since things happened pretty fast. And im really curious who the ml is.
It’s still early to know the whole storyline of the manhwa don’t you think? I honestly like it this way you kept on guessing what’s gonna happen next and why things happened the way they did. Also, of course she cannot defy the imperial family, she’s just a second daughter of a dead count who’s older sister may or may not hate her. She did kill the demon lord but do you think the empire will believe her is she say she did? In the eyes of these snobbish aristocrats she’s a nobody. And I think the only reason she was invited by Reina is because of her sister being one of the two hands of the emperor but they didn’t know she has no power over her older sister also, she’s friendly with that professor and now with the second prince.
