So basically she agreed with the butler’s opinion of her being flawed but also put him in his place. While she carries a weakness, she’s using it as her spear to pierce through Carcel’s steadfast intentions of a happy marriage, and by sowing this mix of fear and shock into the butler, she now can indulge in peace by putting the butler in his place but also have someone oush Carcel to agree for divorce.
