gullible how?? to my understanding, some weird being/person tried to assault her, jayard was there to console her AND get angry because there was no one protecting her, so her brother assigned knights to her. and she, upholding her nasty personality to ensure no one gets close enough to notice her curse and knowing these knights, who are mostly likely commoners, joined the lowest tier in the hierarchy for honor (as its all they can reach), she amped up the nastiness so these knights will leave her alone and maintain their dignity as knights, detached from a literal abandoned royal. I don’t see any issue here
