the common thread in these is that the MC always starts out as a “door matt” and realizes it’s better to just do what they want. Her indulgence of Cesare in the first go round caused his treatment of her. Her self respect in this one has the equal effect.
But i really don’t like men who’s had many flings in their life, cesare has had so many. If he didn’t then I’d be happy if aridane and him got together
The way I see it. I think Cesare was always meant to be King…. He’s the elder son, saw the famed golden deer and from how he was introduced in the beginning, turned out to be a rather decent king after the mutiny (with Ariadne’s help), I hope in this life his character will improve and get redemption for the betraying Ariadne and they become endgame where they finally have a healthy relationship. Alfonso seems like a weak, spoiled, pushover making excuses ans always whining but never really actively seeking out the FL and only helps her when he’s there by chance.
Also, let’s not forget that the one who killed Alfonso was Ari so if she deserves a second chance so does Cesare.
Tho she was manipulated its hard to deny her flaws and involvement in killing him.
She was used but was also making the decisions herself.
Although she’s more pitiful and not exactly as malicious as the others, I kinda put her with the rest of antagonists rather than with Alfonso who right now is kinda bland (but cute nonetheless)

Usually what I see in the comments of these types of manga’s that if one person does something wrong once in the beginning they are pushed out as a possibility. but guys, in the universe right now her actions change their future path. now I’m not saying that Cesare should be admittedly forgiven because he did play the fl their whole rs because he always wanted her sister. but also, in most of these, the fl wasn’t a crazy psycho in the past life. our fl (and I do love her as much as the next guy) was a crazy murderer killing no matter what he asked. She’s human, I know from experience that it’s hard to leave someone when they have you wrapped around your finger and you think of them as the greatest person in the world even though deep down they’re a jack***. but she has a brain and a pretty good one at that. She’s smart she should have made a line that she wouldn’t cross for him, a personal boundary of her actions. but she didn’t, and her hands are also covered with blood as much as his. So if everyone here was so easily to take her side, to say “BACK THE FUCK AWAY UOU SON OF A BITCH SHE DESERVES SO MUCH BETTER THAN A MANWHORE” defending her when actually she doesn’t deserve better. the man in front of her doesn’t even like her sister, and the prince could try to speak for himself or her instead of being a doormat. if he truly loved her that much he would fight for the right to be with her. he also has said nothing of this love for her while Cesare has admitted and hasn’t pushed any boundaries. I think they could learn from each other. because there’s always room for growth. no matter the person, no matter the background, no matter the actions. they can always be better. (also I know you all have your own opinions not trying to push anyone to think about this EXTREMELY confusing situation there in the way I think about it) … (also sorry for the paragraph) 🙂

I don’t have much of a problem with him and Ari being together mainly because they BOTH did terrible things in the past life.
No matter what her motives were she was pretty horrible too, he just took it a step further.
Also she still remains very morally gray and calculated, similar to him.
