Stoped reading the novel updated so far and in the end Cesare is the only one I respect. What a pity the author did a trashy job building the characters of the prince and Areadne. I loved them in the first half of the story, but the way they went down in a humanity and morality kind of way later on disgust me.
Ughh with how much they banter (kinda almost playfully, mostly on Cesare’s side) I’m forgetting how he was a huge b*tard in her past life ? let’s not get swayed!! You and me both Ariadne!!
This is my personal opinion, i think Caesar is really just manipulated too much by his mom – wanting fame, wealth, and acknowledgment doesn’t seem to be so much from himself. No, i don’t condone what he did to Ariadne in the previous life, even his sweet acts this time around are all to “take” away Alfonso’s girl (ariadne). So its not at all sincere, but his interactions w his mom makes me think that she pushed him too much
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO… stop kissing her! Its breaking my heart and reminds me to how jerk he was in past life.. Dont accept him, Ariadne.. plssssssss… Let him pay his cruelties in this life.. Remember Ariadne, you come back to revenge this time…
These kind of plots makes me uneasy, when the MFC is isekai’d and the mean guy (or any other one) changes his attitude towards her and act as if in love or bewitched. It sends bad message to girl : you weren’t good enough, pretty enough, smart enough before. While we all know this is the same girl, the only difference is that she aquired knowledge and wounds from the future and acts accordingly, but in essence and character it’s the same girl. It depends of the case ofc, take Alfonso: she never made a move before and now she does. But Cesare, only because she speaks her mind and openly rejects him she picked his interest and he’s completely different, giving her respect and sending flowers etc. She’s “different” from the other girls aka not easy. His change of attitude is disgusting.
