1nd if he was the strongest and most aggressive demon king how did someone steal his soul? Even knowing that there is always someone stronger they should not be able to do it without no one noticing, as it would not be easy. Imagining that it happened when he was asleep, he would have undoubtedly awoken and made a ruckus making everybody else wake up and move. If the person that stole his soul was a friend of him then it would have been already discovered and his subordinates would be on the move, and if they were still in the castle…. well secrets are bound to be discovered even if you try really hard to hide them. there are more possible scenarios but at least someone should know something, now they are all in the dark. Unless someone is not opening their mouth, or there is always the possibility that he ran away by himself. But why would he do it…? Burdened? I don’t think so… Although judging by that one pallet I do not think that was the case
