It looks like Aina (human) and Goldy (goddess) are separate beings in one body. Ranon loves Aina, but is perhaps being used by the Goddess.
If I’m reading it right, Goldy is saying the child of Aina will eventually kill Aina, unless Ranon chooses to kill his own son for Aina’s life.
What if the Ranon doesn’t like the children because he doesn’t believe they are Aina’s but are Goldy’s source to make wishes/blessing. Would explain why Ranon calls them ‘parasites that destroy his wife’s body.’
