Wow, her backstory is seriously something. Because right now, I’m leaning on the witch’s side. Yes, her methods aren’t exactly the best and she is taking revenge on the wrong people. But so what? All of that wealth and power that MC’s family has is rightfully hers. After all, she was the one who constantly gave the first king power to become an emperor in the first place. Sure the first emperor worked SOMEWHAT I repeat SOMEWHAT hard to establish that whole kingdom, but all that power, wealth and status was initially given to him by the witch. I hate the first emperor. Yeah I definitely despise him. But it’s also true that the witch is not exactly doing the right thing. But I will still take her side. FOR NOW. I know that she is the villain but I feel so sorry for her and really want her to get what’s rightfully hers. But yeah that won’t happen, obviously ?. Oh well, let’s see where this story goes. Honestly I don’t even know if I will come to hate the witch because of her actions or if I still do because of what she did to mc in her previous life, but in my eyes, what she is doing seems perfectly justified since the plot is finally revealing her side of the story.
Just because she can doesn’t mean she should. The one who wronged her is dead, she should not be like the first emperor and she should move on. It’s going to be hard but she wants to harm people and destroy families that had nothing to do with her misfortune.

The empire isn’t “rightfully hers”. She used magic to help the first emperor take things from others. Eventually the emperor betrayed her, but she was partly responsible for not using her powers in an ethical manner. There was a reason the other mages didn’t go around playing kingmaker, and if she’d listened she would have known not to as well.
The descendants are innocent, as are all the other people she has abused and hurt. She spread diseases just to destabilize the empire, that’s not justified due to the first emperor hurting her hundreds of years before.
The characterization is good, it gives her a believable motive, but that doesn’t mean her actions are justified.
Seeing everyone not take her side cause she’s not the MC is despicable and annoying. I can’t count how many manhwa start with FL experiencing such but we support them. Anita has my full support cause the fame way the man she loved acted like a jerk is how his entire generation has been acting.
Except the FL her family are like a joke. Anita’s lover wasn’t even deserving of that position.
Ok, I get wanting revenge. However the one who wronged her is long dead. Take a step back and re-ovulate the family. If they are as tainted as the ancestor then proceed. Otherwise in the famous words of Elsa,”Let it go.Let it go.”
I don’t want to sound like that ass hole but I am soooo but she made a choice because she loved him so much. She volunteered and was warned so many freaking times but she chose not to listen. But I guess you could say the guy manipulated her somehow for her to fall head over heels for him which is a lot of cases in toxic relationships so I’m definitely being insensitive…
she was young and naive, and fell for such a pathetic excuse of a man that had ego issues, who couldn’t get over the fact that she was stronger and more powerful than him. I don’t blame her for seeking revenge, in fact I’d do the same or even worse. we know that she won’t have her revenge tho bc she’s a villain, but I hope she at least gets so sort of closure for herself, for that loving and selfless young mage she used to be before that coward sucked her dry and destroyed everything that she had/was. what woman can’t relate to being exploited by men for the simple fact of daring to love? i want to hug that girl in the cell… of course, I want Regina to win and lead a peaceful and happy life, but as a woman I also hope that Anita can a least die in peace if nothing else… man, fate sure likes to play dirty ? I can’t blame Regina for throwing her ancestor’s diary down to the floor in disgusts…I hope the scum fake emperor burn in h*ll for all the innocent lives taken! Eventho Evaldina’s rage & hunger for revenge is valid but at the expense of innocent civillians is not justified in any way….I’d hope for her to meet that lousy excuse of a human & give him eternal damnation…Regina ought to right the wrong that was done in history…
