Let’s say our mc never entered into this girl’s body, that would only mean that the og girl would still be neglected, bc she still doesn’t have survival mode on nor has a yet “matured” mind. Meaning- the grandfather dude and that guy would still neglect her nor give any interest. BUT NOW that our MC has woken up into that girls body, she tried to survive, causing commotion peaking in those other people’s interest. That maid would have never became her personal maid, nor that kid would have taken interest into her IF IT WEREN’T FOR THE MC! What I am trying to say is that I STILL dislike the other adult characters/idk I don’t have time nor care to remember those people names simply due to the fact because the girl suddenly “changed” or is different. It’s just like those cliche novels where the villainess “acts different” suddenly being liked by the ML who once loved the OG FL. Hopefully that makes sense, and feel free to argue with me to those who disagree.

@Lonelypluto if not for the MC, the baby would have died. She was left alone for two weeks and had to get her own food. A normal baby would starved before she was one year old.
However, I wouldn’t completely blame grandpa. He instructed the people under him to assign a maid to her and look after her. It’s true that he wasn’t interested in her personally, but he intended to let her grow reasonably well. It was the prejudice of the maids themselves that would have killed her. The maid that was taking care of her at first quit, and no one wanted to take over the role of looking after the illegitimate child. However, they also didn’t inform grandpa about this. Instead they shared the responsibility until they forgot and the gryphon almost killed her.
So I’m inclined to forginve grandpa at first, he employed people to do a task and they failed to perform the task, or inform him that they weren’t willing to do it.
I like how some people in the comments finally mention the hypocrisy of grandpa and the other dude. I also don’t like them, kid would’ve died if not for MC. Actually, the dude even wanted to kill her if I remember correctly. That family is trash, sorry not sorry, I don’t accept their “redemption”
