I don’t think she was trashy for asking him to make her a second wife. It’s not strange for kings to have more than one woman, so really, her asking him was rather innocent and a much fairer thing to do than trying to seduce him. I also don’t think that she wanted the king to stop loving her friend, or to love her instead, she just wanted him to love her too, not even as much as isabela, she literally wanted crumbs. I also don’t believe she hated her friend, she was jealous, but not hateful, she never really says anything bad about her, if she hated isabela she wouldn’t have helped her get in bed when she got into labour and wouldn’t have called the doctors and magicians to assist her. the baby swap was just an evil thing to do, but it’s portrayed more like an impulsive act rather than something done maliciously. she is clearly unstable and I think most of her actions can be explained through post-partum depression. the circumstances of her pregnancy were pretty traumatizing and there is a good chance she gave birth alone unassisted and had no support afterwards
