Ah, I liked the novel version of this scene better. So spoilers in case they put it in later.
MC goes off on Grand Duke for not raising the kid, saying things like “How is he supposed to know how to handle things or be careful with his blood when you’ve never taught him how?” Basically saying that the Grand Duke has the responsibility of giving the kid knowledge and skills on how to survive with the poisonous blood instead of just be hidden away, because if the kid is hidden away, the kid will not get the experience he needs to become a Duke later on where he’ll interact with society and servants. Loved that scene.
