I feel like her “first love” was little more than a crush on someone pretty. It doesn’t look like she knew him at all. Which is fine, but I can’t stop thinking of her as someone quite shallow. It just bothers me how the daughter dissed her own father, favoring someone else, when we haven’t been given any indication that the dad was worse than ordinary. And with the mention by the daughter of how “she’d be her daughter even if she regressed”, she’s being set up to upgrade to a better life without losing anything she cared about.
I do think its a bit of a shallow reasoning if she’s not picking her 1st tl husband bcs of apperance and what not. But she also did not love her 1st tl husband so i think it is just right to want to “upgrade” as well as going for her first love now that she’s given the chance. Its not like she deliberately killed herself or drink potion or do magic to go back in time. She lived her life, gave birth, grow old, and died. If i were her, i definitely would do things differently and enjoy life to the fullest.
