Why would she hide the fact that she was pregnant and gave birth and then suddenly have the audacity to come back and say that’s his child. WHY did she come back? And girl- Why would she end the world simply because he wouldn’t accept her? She didn’t even know if that’s her real father but probably believed it since ya know “the mom” but if he was, that’s a whole another case. Like didn’t it cross her mind ” Maybe the guy is not my dad and I shouldn’t get my hopes up and maybe I should have dug up further just to make sure,” I don’t like how the dude feels the need to welcome them in *maybe i’m being too harsh* I would’ve solved it by talking to the mother privately like adults but at the same time the mom shouldn’t have gone to his house in the first place WITH THE KID- Couldn’t you also talk to him privately like adults??? bUt NoO, ya just had to. Or did she actually think he was going to believe it? Then that would mean she thought the world revolves around her too. I don’t like adults who act like that. It’s unfair to the child, to him and to herself.

I definitely agree they should have go to another room and talk about this, I actually think this chapter is pretty good, because in this short chapter we already found out he was a soldier, and there always a sigma about soldier wife cheating. (Judging by his reaction and manner, I think he just misunderstood his ex wife/girlfriend) He seem like a self centered person because he didn’t consider the child feeling when he lash out.

However, I do think that he should have been nicer and calmer about it especially since a child was in front of him. Even if the child wasn’t his, he shouldn’t have neglected her. We see that after the death of his ex, he raised seol-ah so he was kinda like her adoptive father. So what if they aren’t actually blood related? That doesn’t give him the right to abandon her AT ALL. And remember it’s only 2 chapters, we don’t know fully what happened to seol-ah. There are more reasons other than “her father not accepting her” which cause the destruction of the world.
They should just stick to having female main characters. The script is so bad. It’s so obvious, cringey and hard to read. ? icky patriarchy style clichés ? stay in Japanese shounen thanks, the dad has to be some hero that everyone relies on ?? gross man fantasy.

It’s hard to imagine myself in his place because I’m not a man, but I would still insist on that paternity test regardless of what happened before my regression. This is mainly for peace of mind rather than confirming blood relation.
Bc whether she is his child or not, he had a responsibility towards her when he became her legal guardian but neglected her. Since he’s planning to right his wrongs, he does owe her a great deal.

Tbh I can understand the dad’s point of view after all these years she suddenly shows up saying this is your child when he never even knew she existed and he basically missed alot of her early life I think it’s very unfair that she didn’t care to tell him that he had a child all that time and both of them should have talked and argued without the kid there if they wanted to because the kid obv got very traumatized by it because she was all exited to meet her dad and probably not knowing the whole situation thought he would except her with open arms I feel the MC could’ve have been more mindful of the kids presence but seriously what is up with the mother who doesn’t even discuss at least over the phone with someone before trying to bring a child they didn’t know existed and stay at their house
