Meaning she was 9 and he was 16 (maybe 17 if they took time to prepare for the marriage, but it doesn’t seem likely since he said in the 1st chapter that she was suddenly taken away from her home or that she left everything the moment they got married, something like that) when they married. I’m in shock, but i guess it’s nothing to strange considering the historical setting.

@alexeus because being married of at 9 meant she was without parental figures to correctly guide her. yes, she was an adult by the time she died but do you NOT realize that most children must be provided with the tools they need to mature AS children first? she grew up but she didn’t mature because she didn’t know how! and we don’t even know the whole story! we see a section where she learned to sew lace in a monastery, which meant she was forced to survive on her own because everyone kicked her out and left her. think about it. you guys might be used to “strong and powerful and cold” FLs reincarnated into their younger bodies, but you forget that not everyone is inherently OP like that. the flaws in this FL will make her growth more apparent and much stronger
