I guess I’m the only one who understands nor doesn’t hate Lamia and Uriel for their choices.
Uriel is traumatised by Aquila. He has panic attacks as we just saw from just even being near him. Lamia wants to protect her brother. She’s been holding that in for 2 years.
Yes, Aquila healed his hand but remember that he put it there and basically tortured him to begin with. Aquila still has his evil streak but y’all are ignoring it since he’s all “blushy blushy” for Lamia.
You’re telling someone who developed severe Ptsd, trauma, and anxiety to just be grateful and forgive him? And for what, so you can have a cutesy love story? I hate the main lead with all my heart. He can heal the hand but not the mental wound he caused
Let’s not forget some salient points:
1. Aquila was a psycho before — murdering ppl, setting up Uri to be stabbed, then *maiming* his hand and destroying his future while also threatening his family.
2. Aquila somehow turned back time and has his full memories, but we don’t know when — considering the plot against the duke it seems this was a very recent event. So she has two contrasting pieces of information: Aquila the murdering maimer and Aquila the guy who saved her father from his very own plot to kill him … still not a glowing recommendation even with the magician’s oath.
3. All that Lamia knows is that her precious brother was assaulted and traumatized by a member of the royal family and the king regent refuses to compensate — healing magic isn’t a thing here since otherwise another mage would have fixed Uri’s hand — and this psycho shows up at the celebration and starts playing mind games, displaying a split personality, creepy stalker behavior, and also displaying some terrifying magic ability. Said weirdo doesn’t explain much of anything (ever, to anyone) and is left alone with her family then reaches to touch her brother *where he was previously injured* while he’s having a PTSD flashback.
I’d slap his face then knee him in the royal jewels just for a start.
yall will throw away ur morals for some dick… yall realize he traumatized her brother, wounded him, threatened their whole family and tried to kill their dad??? oh but hes cute so it’s excused, thats how fucking stupid yall sound
come on you guys. Aquila intentionally did that to Uriel which caused him to be traumatized for 2 years. For him, a knight, to not be able to wield a sword, let alone hold a pen properly, he would surely react that way to the one who did that to him. I understand why he said that Would you like to be reminded time and time again of what happened to you. I get that Aquila apologized and healed him but would he apologize and heal him if Lamia wasn’t in the equation?
Uriel’s reaction is a reality of how one would react if traumatized however, what Lamia did to Aquila was not okay in my personal opinion. I get that she is very protective of Uriel and she thought Aquila might to something to Uriel but she didn’t have to slap him. The slapping part is not okay for me but her reaction is acceptable as well given that Aquila is still kind of vague and full of secrets. so yeah.
