I honestly think that the fl is blinded by her hatred for the black haired dude and her love for her brother. You can obviously tell he isn’t up for the job and that he doesn’t want it, there’s a reason the fl was educated to be a good duchess because its not a role just anyone can fufill. Her becoming the heir and then duchess would be better for the dukedom since she knows better than her brother does, you can literally see her making all the plans not her brother. When she’s away as a knight what will her brother do? Everyone can’t help him all the time.
@HEh i feel so too…i mean i get the fact that he won’t be able to become a knight like he wanted too and was supposed to and would become kinda useless but also being the duke also will not sure him as he isn’t capable enough for the position and in the end it would lamia making all the role decisions…it’ll just be a puppet situation in the end…she is only doing this cuz if he becomes a duke the royal family will have to punish the prince for his hand but its still a not right situation
I dont really like how she’s treating her brother. I cant say that she’s forcing him to become the duke/heir because he’s agreeing with her (but its mainly just because he wants to help her out),but shes not really considering his opinions that much. I’m not sure why she feels the need to get revenge when her brother hasnt once stated that that’s what he wants(if he did, i dont remember). I just feel like shes gonna put the dukedom in a tough spot leaving someone who isnt fit to be the duke in that position. It’s like her father said, she needs to focus on the future as well.
