Flora is pissing me off. She has this MC complex. Everything revolves around her. She is so naive and unintelligent. Janice isn’t being mean or emotionless. She is being practical.
On one hand, Flora is definitely more than a little naive. On the other, I can’t really blame her, she’s still young. She just wanted to spend time with a guy who she liked, it’s everyone else making a big deal of it.
However, I am equally annoyed about her behavior too, I wish she had at least told Janice about this. Maybe things would have gone differently if she had.
While some might not like her, I do like Janice. She’s a bit heartless but she’s not awful. How she deals with this matter maybe not to Flora’s liking (if she ever figures this out). But her straight up no bullshit attitude may going to Flora’s saving grace or else she might end up like Rebecca. Flora is young and sheltered, she cares too much about what society think of her, in which I am not surprised of that era back then. Women aren’t thought to be outspoken and standing up for themselves, and thats exactly the opposite of Janice. She was a former intelligent agent in her past life, was trained to be quick in decision making. Also this kind of character is refreshing in manhwas tbh.
