This is good it was a interesting twist on why it worked before but not now because of your own mental state. Curious if she speaks more about this and what happened for her to relive her life.
I like the twist. It’s also putting her in a weird position. She transmigrated into a book, and took over the position of a villain. She is now meeting the protagonist that “she” harrassed in the story. But the protagonist reincarnated and remembers the original story.
So Katarina remembers an alternate Dylan who was a villain, and believes that Dylan is the person that harrassed her. Which is why she’s been guarded against her.
It would be difficult for Dylan to explain that she’s not the same Dylan that harrassed Katarina, since she clearly knows the story. If not for her attempts to find the protagonist, Katarina would have remained oblivious, and thought that Dylan marrying Cedric instead of Emily was a consequence of her actions changing the past.
Now Dylan has to play along and possibly apologize for her past behavior, or explain how she had a separate past life and is not the same Dylan that harrassed Katarina in the story.
