^ This chapter was kinda confusing but here’s what i get from this chapter the fl teacher is key to saving her son and the enemy is the king (I think) hope this helps!
Okay so, i somewhat understood. The fox is the first empress consort(or wait- they called the emperor ‘a sly fox’). If the emperor is the fox, who’s the demigod sitting on the throne? He’s the emperor right? Then this contradicts what she said- “Our enemy is not the fox nor the lion”, And who exactly is the lion? I’m also confused as to how many factions are there? Three factions that goes as – Western noble faction, eastern noble faction, centrist noble faction.
There’s also crown prince faction (still new and rising but weak) that consists of the emperor faction and centrist noble faction.
And the western noble faction is those mages of the tower? Her teacher.
So she’s trying to join them with the crown prince faction.
The one faction left is the eastern noble faction…so I’m guessing its the first empress consort’s faction??
